The transition from high school to adulthood can be a confusing time for special needs young adults.
That’s why the Arc of Tri-Cities is offering a workshop to discuss ways to make this transition a success. It’s scheduled from 6-8:30 p.m. April 23 at 1455 Fowler St. in Richland.
Representatives from the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Columbia Industries, Goodwill and a panel of parents will provide information on how to minimize stress and be successful during this period of time and will discuss the forms of assistance available for those living with special needs.
Spanish support is available. The workshop is free and open to the public.
