New artwork by local artists will be featured at the Sunnyside Museum this spring and summer.
An artists reception is from 6 to 8 p.m. April 17, and an open house is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 18. Museum volunteers will dress in period costume from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, provided by Over The Hill Theatricals, as part of the open house.
Photographer Jory Anderson, painter Leona Bushman, Sunnyside High School senior Yvonne Hernandez and artist Kathleen Rogers are among the 18 people who will have work on display. The art show is a cooperative effort by the Sunnyside Museum board and the Sunnyside Arts Commission.
The museum is at 704 S. Fourth St. There’s no admission fee.
