Two Tri-City women are among Gov. Jay Inslee’s recent appointments to state boards.
Kennewick attorney Tawney Carrier was named to the Veterinary Board of Governors for a term into December 2019. She is considered the public representative on the six-person board made up mostly of veterinarians and vet techs.
The board seeks to protect the public’s and animal’s health and safety and regulate the competency and quality of healthcare providers, said its website.
Heidi Hill of Richland was appointed to fill out an unexpired term on the state Traumatic Brain Injury Council.
