The National Weather Service is predicting a 20 percent chance of isolated showers and thunder after 2 p.m. today in the Tri-Cities, according to the National Weather Service.
The weather is windy, with gusts of up to 37 mph forecast. A west wind is expected to blow at sustained speeds of 18 to 24 mph for much of the day in the Tri-Cities, with wind speeds at their highest in the evening.
The wind should decrease to 13 to 18 mph early Wednesday morning.
A slight chance of thundershowers is predicted again for Wednesday between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.
