U.S. Rep. Dan Newhouse, R-Sunnyside, has opened a Tri-City office in a Port of Benton building in north Richland.
Josh Lazano will be Newhouse’s district representative for the office at 3100 George Washington Way No. 135. He was a volunteer on Newhouse’s 2014 campaign. He grew up in the Lower Yakima Valley before moving to the Tri-Cities. He is a graduate of Columbia Basin College and Washington State University Tri-Cities.
“It is an honor to serve the people of the Mid-Columbia region, and I am pleased to announce the opening of a new constituent service office in Richland,” Newhouse said in a statement. “I invite anyone who has a question or concern or needs assistance with a federal agency to drop by or contact my office locations in Central Washington.”
Newhouse, who also has an office in Yakima, is scheduled to appear at an open house for the Richland office from 4-6 p.m. March 31.

Newhouse’s office will take up 906 square feet in the port multi-tenant building, said Teresa Hancock, the port’s real estate specialist.
