The annual Leprechaun Dash is Saturday and elementary and middle school students can still register.
The one-mile fun run organized by the 3 Rivers Road Runners starts at 9 a.m. and runs along a stretch of Columbia Park Trail in Columbia Park starting near R.F. McDougall’s and Kimo’s. The race is only for children and there is no fee to enter.
Kids can register in person from 3:30 to 5 p.m. today at the Richland Community Center or the morning of the race at the start line from 7 to 8:30 a.m.
The elementary school with the most finishers above 100 participants will win the race and receive a $2,000 prize from the club for physical education equipment. Schools with the second and third most finishers above 100 students receive $1,300 and $700 respectively.
