The Craft Brew and Bacon Festival planned March 14 in Kennewick is sold out, organizers announced Tuesday.
That means tickets for the event, which starts at 6 p.m. at the Three Rivers Convention Center, won’t be available at the door.
“This new event has gone better than we expected. We don’t look forward to turning disappointed guests away. We will plan for more than 1,000 guests next year. Thank you Tri-Cities,” said Heather Breymeyer, coordinator, in a news release.
The event will feature more than two dozen breweries, three bands and six restaurants serving complimentary food.
A Best Bacon Bite contest with a $1,000 prize also is planned. Festival goers will pick the winner.
The event is for people 21 and older.
It’s set to become an annual event at the convention center.
