A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Thursday evening in Pasco at the intersection of Road 28 and Lewis Street, and was taken to Kadlec Medical Center in Richland with unknown injuries.
The driver of the vehicle, an adult female whose age was unknown, will not likely face charges, said Pasco police Sgt. Scott Warren. Warren said the pedestrian was crossing the street against a red light, while the car had the right of way.
The man is expected to survive.
