The Winter Ice Magic ice skating show, Polar Express, starts at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 19 in the Toyota Arena next to the Toyota Center in Kennewick.
The figure skating show is made up of 25 local skaters, including featured skaters LaRae Hudson and Britt Olsen. Hudson will skate to the number that earned her a third place finish in a regional skating competition. Olsen, a 13-year veteran of ice skating, will skate two numbers in the program that were specifically choreographed for Polar Express.
The skaters are coached by Jenny and Craig Bond, both of whom have skated since childhood and choreographed several ice shows.
“It’s awesome when we get to show everything we have worked so hard for,” the Bonds said in an email to the Herald. “Come see the talented performers, outstanding choreography and fantastic costumes.”
Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for ages 3 to 12.
