The Merry Tuba Christmas concert is at 3 p.m. Dec. 6 at the Gesa Carousel of Dreams, 2901-F Southridge Blvd., Kennewick.
Local musicians will get together to play a selection of holiday tunes. Admission is free.
The Tuba Christmas concert tradition, created by Harvey Phillips, is celebrating its 41st anniversary and is performed around the world, with more than 275 U.S. cities taking part. Phillips started the event to honor his music teacher William J. Bell, who was born on Christmas Day in 1902.
