Mid-Columbia temperatures are expected to see a large drop over the weekend.
The National Weather Service predicted that a Pacific cold front would move into the area Friday night and be followed by an Arctic cold front Saturday, keeping high temperatures in the 30s. Light snow accumulations are possible.
After possibly rain Friday night, the temperature in Pasco is predicted to fall to 30 degrees by 5 p.m. Saturday. An overnight low of 11 is predicted, with temperatures rising only to 27 degrees Nov. 30.
Temperatures will drop to 22 degrees Sunday night, again rising to 27 degrees, Dec. 1, the weather service said.
