The annual A Family for Every Orphan holiday fundraiser Nov. 28-29 and Dec. 6 will feature an auction of brightly decorated Christmas trees and art by local artists in Richland and Benton City.
Proceeds will go to the Family for Every Orphan organization, formerly known as Doorways of Hope.
The open houses will feature donated artwork in pottery, metal sculpture and photography by Tri-City artists John Clement, Victoria Gravenslund, Arlene Custer and Ted Neth.
There also will be an auction of decorated Christmas trees by Sharon Taff. The trees are decorated in various themes and include lights. And a framed John Clement canvas print will go to the highest bidder of each tree.
The event is 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 28-29 at the Arlene Custer art studio, 2740 Leslie Road in Richland, and noon to 5 p.m. Dec. 6 at Kiona Winery, 44612 N. Sunset Road in Benton City. Admission is free.
