Pasco School District is looking for volunteers willing to tutor Pasco elementary students as a part of the Project Literacy program.
Volunteers will be asked to commit to one half-hour session per week, in which they will provide one-on-one reading assistance to students. The program will run for the duration of the school year.
Bi-lingual tutors are especially needed, but it is not required that tutors speak Spanish. Tutors are also not required to live in Pasco.
Project Literacy is a program of Regional Service Corps. To learn more or to apply, call 509-547-6607 or visit www.rsca.us.
