Professor to discuss fall of Berlin Wall today

An associate professor of history at Washington State University Tri-Cities in Richland will mark the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall with a lecture 7 p.m. today.
Brigit Farley's lecture is called, "It was 20 years ago today: Reflections on the end of the Cold War, 1989-2009." Farley will talk about how the world has changed because of the historic event.
The lecture is part of the Liberal Arts Season of Events put on by the Richland Arts Commission.
There's no charge and the public is invited.
