Kennewick woman injured in I-82 accident

By the Herald staff

A Kennewick woman was hurt when her car ran off Interstate 82 near Prosser and down a steep embankment, the Washington State Patrol said.

Kara Sears, 20, was driving west about six miles east of Prosser just before 8 p.m. Sunday when she ran off the right side of the road because of inattention, troopers said.

Her 1993 Subaru Impreza ran down an embankment, rolled and landed on its top, troopers said. She was treated at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.
