Every week, Debra Ezra and her husband play Mega Millions, a draw game from Washington's Lottery.
"We work in tandem," she explained. "I buy the tickets and he checks them." They'd played enough times before, so when Debra's husband announced to her Thursday night that they had won $250,000, she brushed him off. But he wasn't joking.
The Ezras plan to use the winnings to pay some bills, fix their car and fulfill one of Debra's dreams.
"My husband asked me what it is that I have always wanted to do," she said. "I said, 'Go to Paris!' " They plan on doing just that in the near future.
The Ezras bought their winning Mega Millions ticket at the Fred Meyer at 2811 W. 10th Ave. in Kennewick. The store will receive $2,500 for selling the ticket.
