The Three Rivers Community Foundation has a new grant opportunity that is separate from its normal grant cycle.
The foundation is requesting proposals in the areas of community building, hunger, and the reduction and prevention of violence in the community.
Applications are being accepted addressing the following initiatives:
w Supporting evidence-based and promising approaches to reducing and preventing violence in the communities.
w Strengthening communities and building strong families.
w Fighting hunger and improving food distribution systems.
Applications are due Nov. 9. For specific grant application requirements, go to 3rcf.org and look under Nonprofits.
