Pasco residents may want to show a bit more patience with that unsolicited phone call this month.
It just might be a chance to influence public policy on library service in the community.
The city of Pasco has hired the Gilmore Research Group of Seattle to conduct a phone survey to gauge the public's preferences for library service.
The information will be used to help plan future library service and facility needs, according to a news release from the city.
The Gilmore group will survey 400 randomly selected households. Participants will be asked to complete a five- to seven-minute questionnaire over the phone.
The survey also will be conducted in Spanish as needed.
