Pasco makes 9 arrests in prostitution sting

Pasco police arrested nine people in an undercover sting operation downtown.

Seven men were arrested Friday on the misdemeanor charge of prostitution solicitation. Another man was arrested on drug charges and a woman was cited with rendering criminal assistance.

Pasco police Capt. Jim Raymond said in a news release Monday that the city had been getting complaints about illegal activities downtown and the department decided to run an undercover operation.

Those arrested or cited for prostitution solicitation include: Pablo Vargas, 49, Pasco; Abel Alvarez-Reyes, 68, Pasco; Gerardo Huerta-Munoz, 19, Pasco; Conde I. Almarez, 27, Pasco; Erick H. Vasquez, 20, Pasco; and David L. Green, 47, Pasco.

Also arrested were Dale R. Janshen, 57, Benton City, prostitution solicitation and possession of methamphetamine; Victor Z. Rocha, 20, Pasco, possession marijuana and drug paraphernalia; and Maria I. Robledo, 23, Pasco, rendering criminal assistance.
