Moses Lake police are investigating a drive-by shooting late Sunday that left three men injured from shotgun blasts.
One man, 35-year-old Juaquin Labato-Sanchez, was critically injured after being shot in the head, police said. He was taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, where he remained in critical condition Monday.
Noe Pena, 28, was shot in the arm and head. Shane Anthony Zornes, 19, was shot in the head. Both were treated at Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake and released.
Police responded to the shooting call at 9983 Sunny Drive around 10:45 p.m. and found the three victims.
Witnesses said a vehicle drove by the home and numerous shots were fired at the victims, who were standing outside, police said.
Officers found the 1996 white Pontiac Trans Am that was reportedly involved early Monday just outside city limits, said Chief Dean Mitchell.
The incident is under investigation, but detectives are "not getting a lot of cooperation from witnesses and victims," Mitchell said.
