A memorial run to honor victims killed in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks will start at 8 a.m. today at the Kennewick police station.
About 50 officers, family members, dispatchers and community members are expected to participate in the seventh annual 9-11 Memorial Run.
The run is open to everyone.
Runners will start at the police station, then likely make their way down to Fruitland Street and to Columbia Park Trail. They'll run through the park to Edison Street to the finish line at Kamiakin High School.
The run, organized by Kennewick police in conjunction with the Fraternal Order of Police, will conclude with a pancake breakfast sponsored by Kamiakin's student leadership class.
