Richland High School apparently was vandalized by Pasco High School supporters before Friday night's Richland-Pasco football game, say police.
Richland High's front entrance was decorated with toilet paper and purple paper sometime Thursday night, said Richland Sgt. Brian Ruegsegger.
A purple bingo marker also was used to write "PHS" on the front door and nearby columns, as well as "Pasco" on the concrete floor to the west of the entrance.
Damage is estimated at $200. Ruegsegger said they believed Pasco students were involved. Anyone with information can call Richland police at 628-0333.
This type of vandalism is considered malicious mischief, a misdemeanor.
"Looks like Richland got hit twice," Ruegsegger said. "They got hit with this and they lost the game."
Pasco beat Richland 22-7 at Fran Rish Stadium in Richland.
