PROSSER -- Prosser residents hope to have visitors from every state today at the community's annual States Day festival, the Prosser Chamber of Commerce said.
Visitors can help reach States Day's goal of receiving guests from each of the 50 states by registering near Ol' Timer's Corner at Prosser City Park, which is between Seventh Street, Memorial Avenue and Sommers Street.
Other events include a 10 a.m. parade through downtown Prosser with marching bands, floats and horses.
Afterward, family activities at the park will include food stands, bingo, a music and dance stage show and a midway carnival provided by Paradise Amusements.
Tours will be offered at the nearby Benton County Historical Museum, 1000 Paterson Road, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
