Deer crossing Columbia halts hydroplanes
Unlimited hydroplane testing was halted for 45 minutes Friday afternoon when a young deer tried to cross the Columbia River from Kennewick to Pasco. Personnel on rescue sleds finally were able to guide the deer back to the shore before testing continued.
