An Intellecual oasis in the north Richland desert, the $1.5 million Center for Graduate Study is nearing completion. Sponsored by the University of Washington, Oregon State University and Washington State University, the structure will house classrooms, laboratories, research facilities and offices. Completion should be in mid-July when this photo was published on June 10, 1968.
