The Syngenta Seed processing plant was dedicated Wednesday in Pasco. The nearly 40-acre state of the art global processing facility is designed to process vegetable seeds such as sweet corn, watermelon, squash, melon, broccoli, spinach pepper and tomato. The plant employs 30 full-time employees and has more than 100 seasonal employees during the sweet corn harvest.
