Principal engineer Ted Venetz talks about some of the challenges in preparing glove boxes for removal. Operators use numerous tools inside the box including saws and other sharp objects that can easily rip the gloves. One cut on an operator's hand can expose him or her to the lifetime allotment of radiation.
