This 2011 Netherlands masterpiece got very little play in the U.S. It's a complicated thriller about mafia types using illegal hormones on cattle and those wanting to stop them. The main character is a vicious thug who is a victim of an ugly childhood tragedy. Events move in a way that make him seek redemption.
Bullhead is a dark, deep film that is brilliantly done. This is one you will not want to miss and is the best -- so far -- of the Battelle Film Club's spring series offerings.
