Miss performances of Chiawana High School’s You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown last week?
You’re in luck. A few shows are left in the run.
The Chiawana Stage Company is presenting the musical at 7 p.m. March 18-19 at the school.

During the show, “the Peanuts gang takes you on a journey from Valentine’s Day to Beethoven Day, from wild optimism to utter despair,” a school district news release said. “All of your favorite characters come to life: bossy Lucy, who is is hopelessly in love with piano prodigy Schroeder, who doesn’t give her the time of day; perfectionist Sally, who is is still mocking blanket-toting Linus; Snoopy who is always in the doghouse, and ‘blockhead’ himself, Charlie Brown.”
The school’s production is a revised version featuring some new songs and dialogue.
Todd Westendorf is the director and JoLyn Glenn is the music director.
McKenzie Tone is choreographer and Verna Schwillke handled costumes.
Ally Gocus, a student, is the stage manager.
The cast includes Kyle Bishop as Charlie Brown, Crissy Wooldridge as Lucy Van Pelt, Evan Naef as Schroeder, Brianna Plewman as Sally Brown, Alex Mears as Linus Van Pelt and Meg Nelson as Snoopy.
The ensemble includes Claire Coffelt, Crystal Goodrich, Teegan Smallwood, Matt Aulgren, Alex Ruiz Christina Fangman and Rodrigo Alcantar.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Advance tickets are available at the school’s ASB office from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. weekdays.
