The Brasil Guitar Duo kicks off the 2014-15 Camerata Musica chamber music season on Sept. 27.
Joo Luiz and Douglas Lora were 2006 winners of the Concert Artists Guild International Competition and have been hailed by Classical Guitar magazine for their "maturity of musicianship and technical virtuosity."
They will play classical pieces from Jean Philip Rameau, David Leisner, Leo Brouwer and Egberto Gismonti.
Showtime is 8 p.m. in the Battelle Auditorium, on Battelle Boulevard, off George Washington Way in Richland. Admission is free.

"We are super excited about this season of concerts," said Nancy Welliver, with the Camerata Musica nonprofit association. "Some of the performers, like the Onyx Chamber Players, are beloved favorites and appeared several times in our series. And the Brasil Guitar Duo are young and exciting."
Here's a look at the rest of the season:
-- Oct. 25: Onyx Chamber Players is a trio of musicians who play cello, violin and piano/harpsichord. The concert includes works by Johannes Brahams, Franz Josef Haydn and Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy.
-- Nov. 22: Byron Schenkman & Friends is a quintet of musicians who combine violin, cello and flute. They will play music by Mozart and Carl Maria von Weber.
-- Jan. 17: Jeffrey Savage plays several piano pieces by Beethoven.
-- Feb. 28: Auryn Quartet is a group of violinists and a cello player whose repertoire for Camerata includes works by Haydn, Dvorak and Beethoven.
-- March 28: Blue Moon Trio is made up of three women who play violin, viola and harpsichord. They will play music by Dietrich Buxtehude, Johann Heinrick Schmelzer, Johannes Schenk, and Johann Pachelbel.
-- April 12: The Seattle Baroque Orchestra is an 11-piece ensemble who will play a mix of classical tunes by Antonio Vivaldi, Biagio Marini, Giovanni Legrenzi and Andrea Falconieri.
All concerts are held in the Battelle Auditorium and start at 8 p.m. The exception is the April 12 concert, which starts at 3 p.m.
