NACHES -- An annual roots-rock music festival featuring art and food vendors, camping and a range of musical concerts by well-known bands from around the Northwest and beyond runs Sept. 12-14 in Naches.
Chinook Fest is about 18 miles west of Chinook Pass at Jim Sprick Community Park, 13680 Highway 410.
A weekend pass costs $90. Individual day passes are $30 for Sept. 12, $60 for Sept. 13 or $20 for Sept. 14. Tickets are available at the gate or at http://chinookfest.com/tickets.
The Sept. 12-13 events are for the 21-and-older crowd only, but the Sept. 14 concerts are open to all ages. Admission is free for kids ages 12 and younger.
Never miss a local story.
Chinook Fest organizers say they strive to keep their event green and have partnered with environmentally conscious companies like Liberty Bottleworks to maintain the park, and encourage festivalgoers to pick up after themselves during the three-day party in the woods.
The music includes more the two dozen bands, including festival founders Cody Beebe & the Crooks.
