RICHLAND -- The Academy of Children's Theatre named Anne Spilman as its new managing director, who will be in charge of business operations and facility management.
She is a Kennewick High and Pacific Lutheran University graduate who has been involved with youth programs at ACT, as well as a special events coordinator and development intern. Spilman has been a drama director, choreographer and instructor at ACT for several years.
"Anne's lifelong connections to ACT create a unique perspective that will facilitate her ability to lead and manage the organization," said John Veysey, president of ACT's board of directors. "She is the perfect complement to the team at ACT who are all working so hard to bring theater and performance arts to the youth in our community."
