A spaghetti feed and silent auction benefit event is from 6 to 10 p.m. July 31 at Columbia Community Church, 150 Gage Blvd., Richland.
Cost is $15 for adults, $5 for ages 10 and younger. Proceeds from the event will go to help with mounting medical bills for a Walla Walla family, with ties to the Tri-Cities, whose 5-year-old son remains in a coma after a near-drowning earlier this year.
The boy’s parents, Tonya Maier & Michael Scheel, are Pasco High grads.
More information about the family can be found on Facebook under ‘Caring for Gabriel.’
