If rock is your thing, then Hell's Belles is one rockin' girl band you won't want to miss.
They're the featured act Aug. 1 at an outdoor concert at the Clover Island Inn in Kennewick.
These chicks don't just play rock music. They call themselves an AC/DC tribute band. And if you're a teen from the '70s then you know how much hard rock we're talkin' about.
The Belles are from Seattle and have played gigs in the Tri-Cities a few times during the past five years. The band features Adrian Conner on lead guitar, Mandy Leinenweber on bass, Lisa Brisbois on rhythm guitar, Laura Derig on drums and Amber Saxon as lead vocalist.
On the band's website, the musicians proclaim their dedication to AC/DC fanatics the world over, providing as much rock 'n' roll assault as a music lover can handle.
The band's Facebook page perhaps says it all: "Hell's Belles are relentless in their righteous rock & roll mission."
Tickets to the show cost $25 at the door.
Opening for the all-girl rockers is local band Groove Principal. Showtime is 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the concert.
