Fiber artists from around the Yakima Valley will gather July 19 at Sage Bluff Alpacas in Prosser for the farm's fourth annual Summer Fiber Arts Festival.
The Spin-In is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and all ages are welcome. Admission is free.
Throughout the day, members of the Desert Fiber Arts Guild will demonstrate various techniques like spinning, weaving, felting and knitting. Several fiber artists also will have some of their work for sale.
Visitors also will be able to tour the farm, meet the alpacas, talk with breeders John and Jennifer Ely, and shop luxurious alpaca retail.
