The Haunted Forest, a Pasco Jaycees fundraiser, is from 7 to 10 p.m. Oct. 25-26 and 31 at Sacajawea State Park off Highway 12, east of Pasco. Cost is $10 for general admission and free to ages 5 and younger. Visitors should dress warm and wear comfortable shoes.
The Union Gap Corn Maze is open every day through Halloween. A schedule of times is at ugcornmaze.com. Cost is from $7.50 to $9.50. All ages are welcome.
The Terror Behind the Screen haunted attraction is from 6 to 11 p.m. Oct. 25-26, 31 and Nov. 1-2 at 3521 W. Court St., Pasco. Admission is $10. Kids ages 12 and younger must be accompanied by a parent.
The Project 13 haunted house, Ashley Furniture warehouse, 5515 N. Industrial Way, Suite 130 in Pasco. Hours are from 7 to 10 p.m. Oct. 28-29; from 7 to 11 p.m. Oct. 25 and 30; and from 7 p.m. to midnight Oct. 26 and 31. Cost is $15 at the door. Advance tickets cost $12 if purchased at Ashley Furniture in Richland and Pasco, Ranch & Home in Kennewick or Adventures Underground in Richland.
An adult Halloween party is from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Waterbrook Winery's tasting room, 10518 W. Highway 12, Walla Walla. Festivities include live music, dancing, a costume contest, henna tattoos by Celebrity Henna, food and beverages. Admission is $20, and the event is open to those 21 and older.
A fall carnival is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Richland Community Center, 500 Amon Park Drive. Admission is $4.50 for Richland residents and $5.50 for nonresidents. A Howl-0-Ween dog costume contest starts at 10 a.m. Oct. 26 at Spillway Park at McNary dam near Umatilla and Hermiston. Awards given for best costume, funniest costume, scariest costume and most original costume. Cost is $5 per dog with a three dog limit per family, and all dogs must be on a leash.
The Women of the Moose harvest festival is from noon to 3 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Moose Lodge, 2617 W. Sylvester St., Pasco. Festivities include games, cake walks and hot dogs. Admission is free.
West Richland's first Howl-0-Ween Walk for the Animals is from 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 26 starting at Yoke's Fresh Market on Bombing Range Road. Registration fee is $20. The event also features a pet costume contest, pet photography and face painting.
Murder at the Deadwood Saloon is Oct. 26 at the Weinhard Hotel in Dayton. The overnight event, which costs $239 per couple, features a hunt for treasure, dinner, a murder mystery and accommodations. For reservations, call 509-382-4032.
