The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a cult classic that never seems to lose its appeal with movie buffs.
It's one of the reasons The Princess Theatre in downtown Prosser features the zany film every Halloween.
"We love coming to the Princess for Rocky Horror," said Mari Page of Prosser. "It's fun and we can feel like kids again. We can throw toast and not get kicked out for it because everyone is doing it."
Those who attend the Oct. 26 events will receive a props bag and a newspaper filled with comics that outline the irreverent etiquette expected at The Rocky Horror Picture Show, she added. The audience is not allowed to bring their own props.
There will be a preshow party in the theater's Green Room before the 8 p.m. and midnight showtimes. Admission per show is $15 and includes the movie, props bag, toast, bubbles, script and all sorts of other Halloween fun.
"Yelling obscenities at the screen is my favorite part," Page said. "If you did that in any other movie theater, you'd get booed. At Rocky Horror, you're weird if you don't participate."
