A Hanford High graduate will make her television debut on HBO's Emmy Award-winning series, Boardwalk Empire on Sunday.
G. Michelle Robinson recurs as Sybill Crawford, Chalky White’s (Michael K. Williams) future in-law.
“It’s still surreal to me,” Robinson said in a news release about her debut on Boardwalk Empire. “I think about the names of all the artists associated with the show, and can’t believe that now my name is alongside theirs.
"I mean, Martin Scorsese! I can't believe I'm working on a Scorsese project. And don’t get me started on those amazing 1920s costumes!”
Robinson graduated from Hanford High in 1985. Her mom, Peg Robinson, lives in Pasco.
Robinson attended Gonzaga University in Spokane and the University of Washington in Seattle, where she received her bachelor's.
In 2007, four years after moving to New York, she received her masters of fine arts in acting from New York’s famed acting school, The Actors Studio/New School for Drama. She went on to perform in numerous Off-Broadway stage productions, and award-winning independent short films.
