Singer-songwriter Jill Cohn returns to her Tri-City roots June 8 for a concert from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Emerald of Siam nightclub in Richland.
All ages are welcome and there is no cover charge.
Cohn grew up in the Tri-Cities and moved to Seattle area several years ago to pursue a music career. She recently relocated to Northern California to be near her guitarist and boyfriend Dave Sampson.
She recently released a new album called "Beautiful I Love You." Her songs pay homage to artists like Joni Mitchell, Sarah McLachlan and the Counting Crows, with tunes ranging from personal reflections to musical contemplations of a life well-lived, according to her biography.
She is an official spokeswoman for Taylor Guitars and Elixir Strings guitars. She also was among the top five finalists for the Lilith Fair talent search and has opened for Jewel and Dave Matthews.
