Chris Tomlin's Burning Lights tour hits the Tri-Cities on April 21 at Toyota Center in Kennewick.
Showtime is 7 p.m., and tickets cost $25 to $35 in advance. Tickets will cost $5 more on the day of the show.
This award-winning Christian artist's concerts are touted as "highly anticipated nights of worship" featuring a slew of his signature tunes, as well as some new music from his latest album Burning Lights.
The 40-year-old Tomlin, who wrote his first worship song at age 14, has earned four Grammy nominations since 2009 and won for best contemporary Christian album in 2012. He also has earned 20 Dove awards since bursting onto the Christian music scene in the late 1990s, including consecutive male vocalist of the year awards from 2006-08.
Never miss a local story.
Also appearing with Tomlin will be musician Kari Jobe, who earned a Dove for her hit tune Revelation Song.
Jobe, 31, has taken her music around the world with the Gateway Worship church, where she is also an associate pastor. Her first self-titled album, released in 2009, placed at No. 67 on the Billboard 200 list and No. 1 on iTunes Christian music charts.
Tomlin travels with the same band he records with, according to his website. Those band members include Daniel Carson on electric guitar and backup vocals, Jesse Reeves on bass and backup vocals, Travis Nunn on drums and Matt Gilder on keyboards. Tomlin also plays guitar and piano.
His Burning Lights album, released earlier this year, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's 200 chart, which is reportedly the fourth Christian album in history to accomplish that feat.
