A special Civil War exhibit is on display through Feb. 28 at the Fort Walla Walla Museum.
The exhibit features artifacts from private collections, including several unusual and rare items. Visitors will see separate displays of items used by artillery, cavalry and infantry soldiers, as well as a large assortment of firearm accessories, belt buckles, buttons and personal items.
The museum, at 755 Myra Road in Walla Walla, is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for students and seniors and $5 for kids 6 to 12. For more information, go to www.fortwallawallamuseum.org.
