A 1940s style Mess Hall dinner and USO fundraising show is Sept. 21 at Building 59 at the Tri-Cities Airport in Pasco.
Festivities include music by Kellye Cash, Steve Haberman and BlueZette, Mary Lou Gnoza, the Tri-City Tappers and Swing Unlimited. There will be a selection of wines for tasting from Airfield Estates and historic displays of a World War II Jeep and amphibious car.
Guest speakers for the event will be Altha Skogley, a former member of WAVES (Women Appointed for Voluntary Emergency Service) from the Pasco Naval Air Station, and Tom McMillin, a veteran of World War II.
Admission is $50, with proceeds being split between the Hanford Reach Interpretive Center and the CREHST museum, both in Richland. For tickets, call 943-4100 or 943-9000.
