The annual Grape Stompede is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 8 in downtown Kennewick.
The Grape Crush Rush, which includes one-mile and 5k fun runs, starts at 7:30 a.m. The cost is $10 for each run, and registration can be done at the event. The runs start at the Clock Tower at the corner of Auburn Street and Kennewick Avenue.
The Teddy Bear Parade starts at 10 a.m. starting at the Thomas Kincade Gallery on Dayton Street and running through the heart of downtown, ending at the Flag Plaza.

The popular Grape Stomp is at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Each session features three-person teams who will stomp grapes in wooden wine barrels. Each member of the team will stomp for one minute, then the next member takes over. Registration fee is $30 per team, and participating teams must sign up before the event.
Other festivities happening throughout the day include a chalk art contest, music, dancing and a kids activity center.
