The Benton Franklin Fair & Rodeo continues from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Aug. 24 and from 9 a.m. to midnight Aug. 25 at the Benton County Fairgrounds. General admission is $12 at the gate and $5 for ages 65 and older and ages 6 to 12. Kids ages 5 and younger are free.

Main stage entertainment
The British classic rock band Foghat provides the main stage entertainment Aug. 24 at the Benton Franklin Fair & Rodeo.
On Aug. 25, it is country crooner Jerrod Niemann as the headliner.
Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. each night. Entry to the concerts are included with admission to the fair, but reserved seats cost an additional $15. Tickets are available at the gate.
Horse Heaven Round-Up Rodeo
The rodeo starts at 7 p.m. Aug. 24-25 in the rodeo arena. General admission comes with a fair ticket, or reserved seats are $10.
The carnival opens at noon and closes at midnight. An all-day wristband pass is $30.
Parking costs $5, or purchase a combo fair/bus pass for $12 or $7 for ages 6 to 12.
Taking the bus costs $1.50 each way per person or $4 each way for a family of five. Seniors and disabled persons with valid Ben Franklin Transit ID cards can ride for 75 cents each way. Kids ages 5 and younger ride free.
Buses depart starting at 9:30 a.m. from the Knight Street Transit Center in Richland, TRAC's south parking lot in Pasco, the 22nd Street Transit Center in Pasco, as well as Kamiakin High School and Lampson Stadium in Kennewick.
Kennewick service from Lampson Stadium and Kamiakin High School departs about every 30 minutes between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., and departs from the fairgrounds every 30 minutes between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Evening service from Kennewick runs about every 15 minutes up until 11:45 p.m.
Pasco service from TRAC leaves every hour between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Buses leave from the Pasco Transit Center at 22nd Avenue and Sylvester Street every 30 minutes between 9:15 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. with evening service every 15 minutes up until midnight.
Richland service from the Knight Street Center is every 30 minutes between 9:15 a.m. and 5:45 p.m., with evening service every 15 minutes until midnight.

During the day, Benton City and Prosser residents can also catch the Route 120 eastbound buses to connect with the Knight Street shuttle to the fair. Evening riders can catch the 7:10 p.m. shuttle from the West Richland Transit Center.
