Thaddillac brings his unique blend of Jimi Hendrix, Prince and Peter Frampton styles of music to the Tri-Cities on July 6 at the Emerald of Siam in Richland.
Showtime is 9 p.m. Cover is $7 at the door.
Thaddillac -- real name Thaddeus Turner -- is a popular Seattle performer who blends the beauty of traditional soul with the power of rock, said Dara Quinn, co-owner of the Emerald as well as a professional musician.
"As lead guitarist for the Seattle heavy soul band Maktub, Thaddeus has received glowing praise from Rolling Stone magazine, National Public Radio and The Seattle Times," Quinn said.
Thaddillac has toured with such famed musicians as Dave Matthews and India.Arie, as well as Cherrywine, Stone Gossard from Pearl Jam and Digable Planets.
Turner got his musical start at age 3 when he learned to play the keyboards. That introduction soon led to a passion for the strings, and he grew up performing music in his church, Quinn said.
Thaddillac recently launched his debut solo album, Fleetfoot Broham, which showcases such styles as funk, soul, techno and screaming rock guitar, Quinn said.
