The CREHST museum's annual Spring Swing fundraiser will have great music to dance to and also will introduce a new exhibit that commemorates the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic.
Patricia Brown of CREHST said the exhibit features two fictional passengers aboard the HMS Titanic on its doomed voyage that ended April 12, 1912, when the ship sank after hitting an iceberg in the north Atlantic.
Spring Swing is the museum's major fundraiser of the year and features the University of Idaho's Lionel Hampton Jazz Band.
It starts at 6:15 p.m. April 14 at the Red Lion Hotel in Pasco and continues to 11 p.m. There will be dancing, dinner and a stroll through Titanic-themed decorations.
Attendees also will have the opportunity to listen to recordings from some of the survivors, Brown said.
Tickets are $60 for CREHST members and $70 for non-CREHST members, and available at 96 Lee Blvd., Richland, or call 943-9000.
