The traveling Smithsonian Institution exhibit titled Journey Stories continues at the main branch of the Mid-Columbia Library, 1620 S. Union St., Kennewick.
The free multimedia exhibit includes photographs, audio, historical objects and interpretive materials to show how mobility helped a young nation develop through the personal struggles and successes of travelers.
The exhibit remains at the library until Jan. 20. Here are some of the educational programs that are happening along with the exhibit.
-- 7 p.m. Jan. 5: Rachel Tengbom will talk about a Journey of Hope -- a Story from Africa.

-- 6:30 p.m. Jan. 10: Indian storyteller John Cox will tell stories and show crafts.
-- 7 p.m. Jan. 19: Bruce and Susan Matley will talk about Journeys of the West with Cowboys and Cowgirls in Story and Song.
-- 7 p.m. Jan. 20: Michael Sullivan will tell the Amazing Saga of Paul Satko.
