High-octane, unstoppable energy and a stage performance packed with music, dance and song is coming to town.
Barrage is an international troupe of young performers who will have the audience tappin' their toes.
The show starts at 7 p.m. May 18 in the Art Fuller Auditorium at Kennewick High School. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door and are available at Ted Brown Music, 2600 N. Columbia Center Blvd., or Tri-City Bookworm stores.
The show is being made possible by the Hanford High Music Association. The members of Barrage also will conduct a workshop for about 200 Tri-City music students.
Never miss a local story.
"Barrage is here on tour and will not spend much time in the Tri-Cities, but we will take every advantage possible," said Kevin Swisher, director of bands at Hanford High. "During the performance, the members of Barrage will talk with audience members and be available for conversations after the concert."
Barrage offers up a diverse mix of cultures, music styles and performance vitality, he added.
The group, which formed in Canada, has been performing around the world about 15 years. It's made up of five violinists and vocalists, a drummer, bass player and guitarist.
