Cooks, drop your whisks, grab your friends and head to TRAC in Pasco on May 12 for the Taste of Home Cooking School show.
During this interactive two-hour event, you will be able to watch Taste of Home cooking expert Kristi Larson demonstrate 10 new recipes and share culinary tips and techniques.
Everyone who attends will also receive a grab bag of recipes, magazines and gift certificates. You'll also have a chance to win a variety of door prizes, including a Frigidaire Affinity washer and dryer combo valued at more than $2,000 from Garrison's Home Appliance.
The doors open at 4:30 p.m. for the pre-event expo, which will feature products and services of more than 30 Mid-Columbia businesses including Baum's Chocolates, Cheese Louise, Sheffield Cider and Cookies by Design. There also will be food available for purchase from Tri-City restaurants and caterers and a no-host wine bar.
Never miss a local story.
The cooking demonstrations will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are available at Ranch and Home in Kennewick, the TRAC box office or online at www.tasteofhometricities.com. General admission is $12 in advance or $15 at the door (if available). Reserved and VIP tickets are sold out.
The cooking show is produced by Taste Tri-Cities Magazine and the Tri-City Herald.
