The Rattlesnake Ridge Riders backcountry horse club is holding its annual chili feed and ride March 13 beginning at Horn Rapids Park.
The event, which began in 1987, attracts as many as 400 riders for the trip across Rattlesnake slope. The group is dedicated to keeping trails open and helps with things such as trail maintenance and trash cleanups.
Registration starts at 7 a.m. with the long ride leaving at 10 a.m. and the short ride leaving at 10:30.
Early bird breakfast burritos will be served until 9 a.m., and chili and stew will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There also will be a silent auction all day and a live auction at 1:30 p.m. Dogs, drugs and alcohol are prohibited.
Cost is $7 per person or $25 for a family of four.
